WHAT IS A LASH LIFT?

Lash lifting is one of the newest trends to hit the lash industry, and it’s no wonder why. This short and simple lash service semi-permanently curls the eyelashes, simultaneously eliminating the need for eyelash curlers, and waking up tired-looking eyes. But as with any new service—particularly one so close to the eyes—there can be some hesitation. So we’ve answered some Lash Lift FAQs to put your questions to rest, and help you decide if a lash lift is right for you.

ARE LASH LIFTS SAFE?

Lash lifts are very safe when provided by trained and experienced technicians. Olivia&Lash’s Lash Lift products are cream-based, meaning they are easy to control and do not easily run into the eyes like liquid solutions would. When choosing a lash lift provider, always look for someone who is certified in lash lifting.

HOW LONG DOES A LASH LIFT LAST?

Results vary.  In general, lash lifts can last between 4-6 weeks.

ARE LASH LIFTS WORTH IT?

Absolutely. Lash lifting is an extremely low maintenance lash service that lasts up to 6 weeks, and requires almost no aftercare. Lash lifts are generally much less expensive than eyelash extensions, and the service only takes about 45-60 minutes.

ARE LASH LIFTS SAFE DURING PREGNANCY?

As with any cosmetic service, you should consult your physician before getting a lash lift. The products used in lash lifts do not touch the skin, however, if you do develop a reaction or sensitivity to lash lifting products, you may not be permitted to treat it with antihistamines. Pregnancy can also affect the rate at which hair grows, and even the hair’s texture, meaning pregnant clients may experience less lift than usual.
